I always have pasta in my pantry. Typically also a jar of marinara sauce, some chicken sausage in my freezer, and a bunch of veggies in my fridge. Pasta is the great equalizer because everyone loves it (except my three year old currently), it's so easy to use up extra vegetables in it, and it's generally a pretty quick meal. That's why you see so many pasta recipes here on my blog! And while I almost always have some sort of meat on hand to add to pasta, like our favorite chicken sausage from ... continue reading...
Best Ever Green Salad
You know when you go out to eat and you order a side salad to start the meal, and it's just the perfect little green salad? This is that salad. Since we sometimes eat meatless, I wanted to create a delicious meatless lasagna that also had the option to add meat. If you want, you can add Italian sausage to the filling but I promise it's just as delicious without ... continue reading...

We can't forget about the humble lemon though! There are a lot of options out there for lemon poppyseed bread, but this one is my favorite. It has the perfect texture, and there's lemon zest, lemon extract, and ... continue reading...
