Everyone seems to be looking for ways to sneak more veggies into their diets. I would say that parents just do this for their kids, but if you've ever put spinach or kale in a smoothie for yourself, then you're trying to be sneaky with your veggies too. I get it! I love vegetables but I'm always looking for a way to get more into my diet. I love putting butternut squash in this macaroni in cheese. It doesn't change the color if you have a child that will pick out something green from a ... continue reading...
Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread
My love of pumpkin runs deep. Pumpkin desserts, pumpkin in savory dishes, pumpkin-scented candles, the works. This fall has been even more fun for our family. This arugula salad with butternut squash and goat cheese is the exception. Peppery arugula paired with sweet roasted squash and creamy goat cheese is the perfect combination to start your ... continue reading...
Lentil Sausage Soup

I'll serve it with biscuits, cornbread, honey butter beer bread, or sometimes even just a crusty loaf of sourdough. Now that the boys have discovered that they can dip bread into soup, they love it even more. This lentil sausage soup is a hearty, healthy one that is perfect for this time of year. I'm 37 weeks ... continue reading...
