If there’s one thing I love, it’s an easy dessert. Bonus points if they require only seven ingredients like this Oreo peanut butter mousse pie and no baking. Oreos are magical in forming the crust, and pairing them with peanut butter mousse is the best combination. Have you seen the movie “The Parent Trap”? It’s like a grown-up version of dunking your Oreos in the peanut butter jar. And while there’s nothing wrong with that, sometimes you’re just looking for something that’s a little bit tastier.
I used a springform pan to make this dessert and an Oreo crust from scratch, but if you’d like to make it even faster you can use a pre-made Oreo crust too. I get it, sometimes you’re in a pinch and need a quick dessert! Maybe you’re entertaining, maybe you want to bring something delicious to a friend, or maybe you just want to treat yourself. Any of those occasions are perfect for this no-bake Oreo peanut butter mousse pie!
I could go on an on about how fluffy and delicious the peanut butter mousse in this pie is, but really you should just try it yourself. With only 7 ingredients you really have no excuse not to!
- 30 Oreos
- 6 tbsp. melted butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup natural peanut butter
- 1½ cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1½ cups whipping cream
- Use a food processor to crush the Oreos into fine crumbs. Transfer to a bowl and mix with melted butter until it has the consistency of wet sand.
- Press the filling into a 9 inch springform pan and refrigerate while you make the filling.
- Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer with a large bowl, whip the cream cheese and peanut butter together until smooth. Add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix until smooth. Set aside.
- Using a stand mixer or a hand mixer, beat the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture.
- Pour into the prepared crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, ideally overnight.
- Enjoy!
