The Potsticker Soup is made in partnership with Epic Provisions. Thank you for supporting the brands that support For the Love of Gourmet.
It’s soup season, and it’s also sick season. I love a classic chicken noodle soup if I’m not feeling well, but I’m telling you that this 15-minute potsticker soup is going to be your new favorite. Use your favorite potstickers and of course Epic bone broth for all its health benefits and you’ve got a cozy and comforting meal to enjoy in just 15 minutes. Since this recipe has just a few ingredients, it’s important to use a quality bone broth. Bone broth has so many health benefits, such as improving digestion and gut health, supporting joint and bone health, as well as providing hydration. Bone broth is made using items that are normally discarded making sure no part of an animal is going to waste. We are using the homestyle chicken bone broth in this recipe, but Epic Provisions has so many delicious broth flavors such as beef jalapeno and Tuscan-style chicken. All of their bone broths are Whole 30 approved, keto-friendly, paleo-friendly, and gluten-free.
Ingredients for Potsticker Soup
- Potstickers: Use your favorite potstickers! We get ours from Costco and these are our absolute favorite, but there are so many options there or at any store you shop at.
- Sesame oil: Using sesame oil in this recipe not only helps brown the potstickers, but it also gives a subtle sesame flavor to the broth.
- Soy sauce: Adding some soy sauce to the broth gives this recipe an Asian twist and an umami flavor.
- Rice vinegar: I use soy sauce and rice vinegar anytime I’m cooking an Asian cuisine because they compliment each other so well.
- Green onions: I’ve always heart onions and garlic help fight a cold, and they also add great flavor to this dish.
- Chili onion crunch: You can use as much or as little as you want depending on how spicy you want the soup to be, but the extra flavor and texture is a must.
