This caramel apple dip is made in partnership with World Market. Thank you for supporting the brands that support For the Love of Gourmet.
I love the idea of a caramel apple. The combination of a crisp, tart apple with a sweet exterior just sounds like an autumn dream. But reality is they are kind of a mess, and I know that my kids are both incapable of sharing one and finishing one. That’s what makes a caramel apple dip absolutely perfect! Made with cream cheese, Greek yogurt (to up that protein!), brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and caramel sauce, it’s an easy recipe to whip together in your food processor that’s perfect for fall entertaining, extra fun after school snack, or Halloween party. World Market has everything you need for this spread. Pick your favorite candies to dip in after the caramel apple dip, or little cookies to dip in too. From bowls to plate to candy and cookies, World Market has everything you need for this recipe and any of your fall entertaining needs. When I was shopping for the ingredients for this recipe I kept getting distracted by all the beautiful items and I’m sure you will too! It’s truly one of my favorite places to shop, especially around this time of year.
Ingredients for Caramel Apple Dip
- Cream cheese. Cream cheese adds silkiness and helps thicken up the dip verses just using plain Greek yogurt.
- Greek yogurt. I won’t go so far as to call this apple dip a health food, but the yogurt does help up the protein content!
- Brown sugar. The brown sugar is the perfect sweetener because it adds such a great depth of flavor and amps up the caramelly notes.
- Caramel. You can use any of your favorite caramel sauces! World Market has extensive cooking and baking options, including caramel sauce.
- Cinnamon. A little bit adds warmth and depth and makes this dip taste like fall.
- Vanilla extract. Vanilla, cinnamon, and caramel in a recipe? Sign me up!
- Salt. Optional, but everyone has a different taste with how salty they like their caramel! Feel free add none or a pinch, then taste and as more as needed.
- Dipping options! Apple slices, cookies, pretzels, and more are great options for dipping.
- Caramel apple toppings. I like to dip the apple slice in the dip, then into my favorite crushed candies, chopped nuts, mini M&Ms, chocolate chips, and more! There are so many options, choose your favorite!
How to Make Caramel Apple Dip
- Making this recipe couldn’t be easier! All the ingredients go in a food processor and it’s blended until smooth. I like to serve the dip with an extra drizzle over the caramel apple dip.
- Cut up your favorite candies, nuts, cookies, etc. and serve in bowls around the dip. Gingersnaps, mini stroopwafels, sliced apples, pretzels, or anything else that sounds good can go onto the board for serving. There are no rules here! Browse the aisles of World Market and pick anything that sounds delicious!
Be sure to stop by your local World Market this fall for any of your decorating or entertaining needs. They have a selection of candy, cookies, and treats that is unique and won’t be found anywhere else and all of their serving ware, decor, and more are beautiful.
