Serves: 1 cake

Ingredients
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt or sour cream
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 3-4 tbsp. water
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease and flour a bundt pan and set aside. It's important that you flour the pan or the cake will stick!
  2. In a large bowl with a hand mixer or the bowl of a stand mixer, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add yogurt/sour cream and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
  5. Pour in buttermilk and gently fold in.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted in comes out clean.
  7. Flip cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Whisk together powdered sugar and pour glaze over cake.
  9. Serve immediately! Enjoy!
