Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread

Ingredients
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. ginger
  • ½ tsp. allspice
  • ¼ tsp. cloves
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ¾ cup chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a mini loaf pan, a single standard-sized loaf pan, or about 22 muffin cups in two muffin tins with nonstick cooking spray.*
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice and cloves.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin, eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips.
  6. Distribute batter evenly in your prepared baking pan of choice and place in your preheated oven.
  7. For muffins, begin checking for doneness at 22 minutes. For mini loaves, begin checking for doneness at 30 minutes. For a standard-sized loaf pan, begin checking for doneness at 55 minutes.
  8. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and then remove from pan.
  9. Enjoy!
