Jalapeno Popper Wontons

Serves: 18-20 appetizers
- 12 oz. cream cheese ( 1½ packages), softened
- 2-3 jalapenos, seeds removed, finely chopped*
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1½ tsp. garlic salt
- ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
- 10 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 18-20 wonton wrappers
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, jalapenos, lime juice, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic salt, pepper, and bacon until well combined.
- Line a muffin tin with wonton wrappers, one wrapper per muffin cup, and place a heaping tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture into each wonton.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until the edges of the wonton wrappers are golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm. Enjoy!
*2 jalapenos keeps these mild, 3 ups the heat to medium.
