The Best Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. nutmeg
  • ½ tsp. ginger
  • ½ tsp. allspice
  • ¼ tsp. cloves
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup canola or vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp. almond extract
  • Turbinado sugar for topping
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a standard-sized loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, allspice and cloves.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin, eggs, oil, milk, and vanilla.
  4. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle generously with turbinado sugar. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Let cool for 5-10 minutes and then remove from pan.
  7. Enjoy!
