These fun and festive Christmas cookie bars are so easy to make!
Ingredients
2¾ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. baking soda
¼ tsp. salt
1 cup butter, melted, browned, and cooled
1 cup packed dark brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1½ cups M&M candies + more for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9 x 13 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and line with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk the browned butter together with the brown sugar and granulated sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until very smooth.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix to combine. Add the M&M candies and mix again.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and top with extra M&Ms. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown and set.
Let cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
