8 cups cubed panettone bread (from one large loaf)
Salted caramel and powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a medium bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, vanilla extract, almond extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Set aside.
Place the cubed bread into a 9 x 13 baking dish. Pour the milk and egg mixture over the bread and stir to combine. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center of the dish puffs up slightly. That lets you know that the eggs are fully cooked!
Dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with salted caramel. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
