Serves: 4-6 servings

Ingredients
  • 2 lb. flank steak, seasoned with salt and pepper and sliced thin.
  • 2 tbsp. oil
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 green bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • Buns for serving, if desired
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a large cast iron skillet. Season steak with salt and pepper and work in batches to brown on all sides. Once the steak is browned, remove and set aside.
  2. Add the soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet to deglaze the pan. Scrape up all the browned bits as it cooks.
  3. Add the bell pepper, onions, and garlic to the pan and cook until crisp tender. Return the steak to the pan and mix to combine. Place the sliced cheese on top of the skillet and place it under your broiler until the cheese is melted.
  4. Serve the steak as is or in buns.
  5. Enjoy!
