Crock Pot Three Bean Chili

Ingredients
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion, diced
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and finely diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 28 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 28 oz. can diced tomatoes
  • 1 7 oz. can diced green chilis
  • 1 cup beef broth*
  • 2 tsp. salt + more to taste
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp. smoked paprika
  • 1½ tsp. chili powder
  • ½ tbsp. cumin
  • ½ tbsp. dried oregano
Instructions
  1. In a large pot, brown ground beef. Add garlic, onion, jalapeƱo, and bell pepper and cook until onions are translucent.
  2. Add all ingredients to a crock pot. Stir to combine.
  3. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  4. Taste, adjust seasonings, and enjoy!
Notes
* depending on the saltiness of your broth you may want to adjust the added salt accordingly!
