Serves: 1 loaf bread

Ingredients
  • 1 round loaf of sourdough bread
  • 6 tbsp. butter, melted and cooled slightly
  • 1 tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
  • ¼ tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Slice the loaf of bread lengthwise and crosswise as shown in the picture above, with about 1 inch of space in between slices. Be sure to not slice all the way through the loaf.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic salt, garlic powder, parsley flakes, and black pepper.
  4. Drizzle butter and garlic mixture over bread, using your fingers to stuff it as far down into the loaf as you can for maximum flavor.
  5. Top with shredded cheese, pushing some of the cheese down into the bread crevices.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted.
  7. Serve warm alongside soup, chili, marinara sauce, or by itself!
